About The Opportunity Bundaberg Regional Council is looking to expand its Project Delivery Branch to include a dedicated Pre-Construction team to complement the existing construction focused team. Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking a Project Engagement Officer to join our new Pre-Construction team! This role leads project consultation and stakeholder engagement activities for the Project Delivery team. The position supports the delivery of Council’s capital projects by planning and delivering engagement initiatives, developing community focused correspondence, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the community and local contractors. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Encouraging internal and external collaboration and building partnerships to support project outcomes. Building and maintaining relationships with customers, contractors, and community members involved in capital projects. Developing and maintaining stakeholder engagement matrices, registers, and procedures. Monitoring and reporting on project engagement and consultation outcomes. Managing community consultation sessions on an ad-hoc basis. Planning and delivering project engagement initiatives and community consultation activities. About You To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria: Qualification in business, business administration, or an associated field. Demonstrated proficiency in digital applications and platforms, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and project management software such as Jira or equivalent. Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including experience preparing correspondence and reports. Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
