Description How you can make an impact We’re looking for a Intermediate Accountant to join our Bundaberg taxation team. This is an opportunity to work on diverse and complex tax matters, contribute insights that guide sound financial decisions, and play a meaningful role in both our clients’ and our team’s development. You will: ● Prepare and review financial statements for companies, partnerships, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals. ● To work as part of a team to deliver a range of high-quality compliance and business advisory services to our clients. ● Support advisory work under the guidance of managers and partners, using your technical strengths to inform next steps. ● Prepare to draft level budget and cashflows for business planning and management purposes Skills And Experiences You have: Ideally 3 years working in Public Practice and in Business Services Undergraduate qualifications (essential) and Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards this) Exhibit strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax rules, and experience with corporate, partnership, trusts and high-net-worth individual taxation matters Experience with MYOB AE, MYOB Account Right, Xero and System Release programs Professional presentation and communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional client service You are: ● A critical thinker who looks beyond the numbers to understand what they truly mean in clients’ lives. ● A strong communicator who makes technical information straightforward and useful. ● A self-starter who takes ownership of your work, contributes ideas, and proactively seeks opportunities for improvement. ● Someone who believes in doing good work that genuinely supports clients and colleagues around you.
