Our client is a well-established D&C contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across the office, hospitality, and retail sectors. With a tight-knit team of around 20 people and a strong base of repeat clients, they consistently punch above their weight and have a healthy, secured pipeline of work well into the future. They’re now looking for a Senior Estimator or strong mid-level Estimator who values long-term trade relationships and wants to be part of a collaborative, delivery-focused business. In this role, you will be supported by hands-on Directors, a Lead Estimator, a Junior Estimator and an in-house design team, operating within a flexible, mature working environment that trusts people to do their job well. What’s On Offer 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, no weekends Stable workload with a strong forward pipeline Supportive culture with real autonomy and trust Long employee tenures and a close-knit team Flat structure with a genuine no-ego policy 2 days WFH after probationary period Salary offerings; Mid-Level: circa $130k Senior: up to $175k The Role Lead and deliver end-to-end estimating on D&C commercial fit out projects Prepare accurate, competitive, and compliant tenders from RFT through to submission Review tender documentation and develop tender strategies, programmes, and pricing approaches Prepare and manage detailed subcontractor scope packages Attend site inspections and client meetings to understand scope, risks, and constraints Review, analyse, and negotiate subcontractor pricing to achieve best-value outcomes Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options, providing clear commercial advice Work closely with the in-house design team for a streamlined pre-construction process Mentor and support junior estimators and contribute to improving estimating systems and processes Ensure a structured handover to the delivery team once projects are awarded This role is open due to a long-standing employee relocating overseas What They’re Looking For Experience in estimating commercial fit out / interiors projects (D&C) Strong trade engagement with solid market knowledge Good understanding of programmes, pricing, and commercial risk Ability to interpret architectural and services drawings and RFT documentation A practical, solutions-focused mindset Someone who enjoys working in a smaller, agile team environment Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Economics or equivalent construction degree, If you're interested in this opportunity; Click Apply Send your CV to bradley.williams@cgcrecruitment.com Call Brad on 0412422104
