Practice Nurse — Casual (All Sydney NSW) Salary: $40 to $50 per hour | Employment type: Casual | Start: Immediately About the Role We are seeking motivated Practice Nurses at all levels — Student, Graduate, Enrolled Nurse, Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, and Registered Nurse — to join a network of private general practices across Sydney. This casual position suits clinicians who value flexibility, variety and clinical experience in a community primary care setting. You will deliver safe, patient-centred nursing care under the practice model and collaborate with GPs and allied health professionals. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical nursing care including wound management, immunisations, chronic disease support and health assessments. Conduct triage, prepare patients for consultation and perform point-of-care testing as required. Administer vaccinations according to practice protocols and national guidelines. Support chronic disease management programs (diabetes, asthma, heart disease) with recall and monitoring. Document clinical care accurately in electronic medical records and communicate outcomes to the care team. Promote health education, preventive care and screening initiatives to patients of all ages. Assist with minor procedures and clinical audits as directed by practice managers and clinicians. Who We’re Looking For Australian Health Practitioner Regulation registration appropriate to scope of practice. Eligible candidates: Australian citizens or permanent residents with current AHPRA registration. Recent clinical experience in primary care, community health or general practice is preferred but new graduates and students with demonstrable clinical placements are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication skills, strong clinical judgement and the capacity to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting. Current CPR certification and up-to-date immunisation status. Ability to travel to multiple practice locations across Sydney as required for casual shifts. What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of $40–$50 depending on experience and qualifications.
