As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to support the design, planning, and execution of complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Position Overview As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You will apply established engineering principles to support safe, efficient, and compliant project outcomes. Working closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders, you will assist across all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept development and design through to construction and project completion. Key Responsibilities Design & Technical Engineering Design, analyse, and oversee civil engineering structures ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with Australian Standards Analyse soil and rock behaviour under imposed loads and design appropriate structural foundations Obtain soil and rock samples at varying depths and evaluate strength, compressibility, and stability Analyse statical and dynamic properties of structures and materials Design structures to prevent failure, excessive deflection, vibration, or deformation Review and interpret engineering and architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents Construction Planning & Site Management Determine construction methods, materials, quality standards, and work procedures Organise and direct site labour and coordinate plant, equipment, and material deliveries Prepare detailed construction schedules and site activity programs Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to approved designs and safety requirements Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution Cost Estimation & Budget Control Study project documentation to estimate total construction costs Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and budgets Monitor design changes and assess cost and schedule impacts Measure, value, and negotiate variations to project scope Assist in budgetary control and financial reporting throughout project life cycles Transportation & Infrastructure Planning Plan and develop transportation systems in line with population growth and future demand Assess current and projected travel flow patterns Design physical components of transportation systems including: Highways and roads Railroads and urban transit systems Air transportation infrastructure Logistics and supply chain terminals Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High-level understanding of civil engineering design, construction, and materials Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications Sound knowledge of geotechnical and structural engineering principles Excellent communication and coordination skills Strong time management and organisational abilities Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Minimum relevant industry experience preferred Knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and regulations Experience working on infrastructure and large-scale construction projects Proficiency in engineering design and project management tools (desirable) How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter to: itservicesgroupltd@gmail.com
