The Opportunity We are entering the next phase of growth and are seeking an experienced Recruitment Operations Manager - Mining and Resources to help run the show, based in our HQ in Ascot, WA. This is a senior role for someone who thrives on structure, people leadership and commercial awareness. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support the team, manage workflow, and help drive the continued growth of two aligned businesses. You will work closely with the Director, acting as a key operational lead and trusted second in charge. The Tasks Ahead This is a hands-on leadership role across people, process and performance. Operational Leadership Overseeing daily operations across both businesses Managing and supporting recruitment team members and support staff Setting workflow priorities and ensuring deadlines and service standards are met Improving systems, processes and operational efficiency Monitoring performance, reporting and team productivity People & Team Support Providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring to recruiters and resourcing staff Supporting performance development and capability building Ensuring clear communication between team, clients and candidates Growth & Business Support Assisting the Director with business growth initiatives and service expansion Identifying opportunities within existing clients for additional workforce solutions Supporting proposals, tenders and new client engagement Contributing ideas to improve service offerings and market positioning Identifying operational risks, gaps and opportunities Hands-On Recruitment & Client Account Management Developing business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships Managing a portfolio of recruitment assignments across mining and resources roles Scoping roles and workforce needs directly with clients Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates during peak periods Supporting mobilisation including site compliance, medicals, inductions and documentation Supporting onboarding and workforce transitions What You Bring You are organised, commercially aware and confident managing people and moving parts while still enjoying being involved in recruitment delivery. Experience in an Operations Manager, Senior Recruiter or Business Manager role Strong recruitment background, ideally in mining, resources or workforce services Experience managing or mentoring team members Solid understanding of mobilisation and workforce compliance Strong client relationship skills Process improvement mindset with attention to detail Ability to balance operational oversight with hands-on delivery Practical, solutions-focused approach WA residency and full Australian working rights The Now This is not a corporate middle management role.
