The work is growing and we are looking for a Senior Administrator who knows higher education inside out and can bring structure, clarity, and momentum to a fast-moving department but is still keen to have a few laughs in the process. The role As the Higher Education Coordinator, you’ll provide high-level administrative and operational support across EIT’s Higher Education portfolio, with a strong focus on: Governance and compliance Reporting and quality assurance Operational coordination Academic staffing support You’ll work closely with our Head of Higher Education & Global Strategy, the Student Support Manager, and the HE Administration Manager, acting as a central coordination point across academic, administrative and governance functions. Description What you’ll be doing Governance, compliance & quality Supporting TEQSA / CRICOS applications and reporting Managing student and staff reporting to PRISMS and TCSI Coordinating QILT surveys and reporting outcomes Preparing course performance and quality reports Supporting Boards and Committees (BoE, BoS, Academic Board, Governance Board) agendas, papers, minutes, actions Coordinating audits and tracking follow-ups Supporting policy, process and continuous improvement work Operations Helping keep the student lifecycle running smoothly and consistently Supporting the Student Management System (courses, intakes, study periods) Maintaining academic calendars and annual course delivery plans Coordinating complaints and appeals processes Supporting monthly departmental meetings and action tracking Academic staffing Supporting onboarding of academic staff Maintaining faculty information and key documentation What You’ll Bring Strong understanding on how higher education actually works Experience dealing with regulators, boards, and senior leaders Able to juggle multiple complex projects without dropping balls Confident to take ownership instead of waiting to be told Able to bring order and follow-through to busy environments You’ll be working directly with senior leaders so confidence, professionalism, and reliability are non-negotiable. The Essentials At least 5 years’ experience in higher education administration Strong working knowledge of TEQSA, CRICOS, PRISMS and TCSI Experience supporting governance processes, boards or committees Outstanding organisational skills Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into clear, useful reporting High attention to detail (the kind that actually prevents problems) Excellent written and verbal communication A collaborative style – you’ll need to work well with academics, admin teams and leadership Bonus Points Experience with student management systems Exposure to quality assurance and academic policy work Experience supporting course reviews, audits or regulatory submissions Desired Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in higher education administration Demonstrated understanding of higher education compliance and reporting frameworks (TEQSA, CRICOS, PRISMS, TCSI) Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines Experience supporting governance processes, committees, or boards Ability to analyse large volumes of data and present information clearly for reporting and decision-making High level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work collaboratively across academic, administrative, and governance teams Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience using student management systems (desirable) Experience supporting higher education quality assurance processes (desirable) Exposure to academic policy development and implementation (desirable) Skills And Experiences Why Join EIT?
