The Role This is a day-rate contract til end of June 2026. You will be reporting to a senior leader within a Quality, Risk and Systems function, the Learning & Development Officer is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and delivery of learning and development activities. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and managing day-to-day learning and development activities across the organisation and partner network Designing, developing and delivering engaging learning programs, including induction, compliance and capability-building initiatives Partnering with leaders and stakeholders to identify current and future capability needs Facilitating face-to-face and virtual training sessions across a range of employee groups Managing and improving learning frameworks, resources, toolkits and learning systems Supporting workforce development strategies aligned to organisational and funding priorities Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on learning outcomes and program effectiveness Ensuring compliance with mandatory training, accreditation and legislative requirements This is a highly collaborative role suited to someone who enjoys balancing hands-on delivery with program coordination and continuous improvement. Your Profile You're an immediately available proactive and adaptable Learning & Development professional who enjoys working in complex, people-focused environments. You will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Training & Development, Organisational Development or a related discipline At least 2 years' experience in a Learning & Development or Learning Experience role Strong capability across learning design, facilitation and program coordination Experience delivering induction, compliance and capability-building programs Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels, including time-poor leaders Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience using learning management systems and L&D software tools A flexible, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities Experience in health, community services or not-for-profit environments will be highly regarded, as will exposure to multi-site or consortium-based organisations.
