Seeking an experienced SAP Program Architect to lead the preparation phase for an upcoming S/4HANA upgrade. The role focuses on evaluating and optimizing the existing SAP ECC system, developing a comprehensive data cleansing and migration strategy, and ensuring a smooth transition to S/4HANA. The successful candidate will work as a key member of the IT transformation team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to minimize risks, improve system performance, and align the SAP landscape with future business requirements. Key Responsibilities Assess the existing SAP ECC system architecture to identify gaps, customizations, and technical debt that may affect the S/4HANA migration. Design and implement a robust data cleansing strategy for the system, including data profiling, deduplication, quality assurance, and archiving processes to enable clean and accurate data migration. Develop a detailed upgrade roadmap, incorporating system simplification, process re-engineering, and integration with non-SAP systems. Facilitate workshops with business units to gather requirements and define best practices for S/4HANA adoption, with emphasis on modules such as finance, supply chain, and HR. Collaborate with technical teams on system readiness activities, including Unicode conversion, custom code remediation, and HANA database optimization. Oversee testing and validation phases to reduce downtime and ensure compliance with relevant standards \ Provide expert guidance on tools such as SAP Readiness Check, LTMC (Landscape Transformation Migration Cockpit), and SAP Data Services to support efficient preparation. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to senior leadership on milestones and recommendations. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 10 years of experience in SAP architecture, with at least 1 S/4HANA implementation or upgrade. Demonstrated expertise in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations, including brownfield, greenfield, or selective data transition approaches. Strong knowledge of data management tools (e.g., SAP Information Steward, SAP Data Services) and strategies for data cleansing, migration, and governance. Hands-on experience with key SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and HCM. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle complex technical environments and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
