Period of Appointment Appointment to the role is on a permanent, full-time basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight). Duties Provide verbal and written technical advice to clients and other stakeholders regarding the operating of a vehicle safely and in conformity with relevant federal and state legislative requirements, standards, practices and procedures. Provide specialist information, advice and training to industry on various aspects of relevant State and national Legislation and vehicle standards requirements. Provide input and technical advice on the development of departmental policies and practices. Prepare and update technical information bulletins and guidelines. Liaise with stakeholders on changes to the Department’s policies and practices pertaining to the operation and modification of vehicles. Undertake projects relating to the safe operation, loading, modification and construction of vehicles, as required. Provide high level support to the Team Leader Vehicle Management in activities pertaining to National changes, reforms and agendas.
