Agricultural and Agritech Technician wanted for fulltime role in the Moree region of NSW Agricultural and Agritech Technician Full Time | Moree region, NSW | $100,000 super Vitonga Farms is seeking an experienced Agricultural and Agritech Technician to join its large-scale agricultural operations in the Moree region of north-west New South Wales. This is a full-time, ongoing role supporting crop production, irrigation performance, agronomy, and agricultural technology systems. Position Overview The Agricultural and Agritech Technician will support agronomic and production activities across horticultural and broadacre farming operations. The role focuses on soil analysis, crop monitoring, irrigation data, pest and disease management, and the use of agricultural technology to improve productivity and sustainability. Key Duties and Responsibilities Conduct soil sampling, testing, and analysis to support crop and land-use decisions Monitor crop growth, soil moisture, and environmental conditions using probes, sensors, and farm software Assist agronomists with crop nutrition, fertiliser programs, and irrigation scheduling Identify pests, diseases, weeds, and nutrient deficiencies and support appropriate control strategies Collect, record, and analyse agricultural data, including yield, growth, and test results Support planting, harvesting, and post-harvest activities across farming operations Assist with the operation and optimisation of irrigation and fertigation systems Maintain accurate farm, crop, and compliance records Ensure all work is performed in accordance with WHS, biosecurity, and environmental standards Skills and Experience Required AQF Certificate III or higher qualification in Agriculture, Agritech, or a related field, or Minimum three (3) years full-time relevant experience in agricultural production or agronomic support Practical knowledge of crop production systems and agricultural technology Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret agricultural data Understanding of irrigation principles and soil–plant relationships Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic Employment Conditions Full-time, permanent position Salary: 95-110k per annum superannuation Location: Moree region, NSW (regional Australia) How to Apply To apply, please submit your CV/resume via the online application link or email your application to: admin@staff360.com.au Staff 360 has supported Australian agriculture for over 25 years, supplying skilled personnel across grain, cotton, horticulture and livestock sectors.
