About the opportunity The cadet performs a range of clinical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal full-time tertiary studies necessary to acquire the relevant entry level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Health Practitioner in Queensland. Applications will be considered from currently enrolled (2026) 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Physiotherapy students. Cadets are employed casually to accommodate the commitments required by their studies while gaining pre-registration exposure to the workplace. The cadet contributes to a 7-day physiotherapy service delivery model within the Townsville University Hospital under the delegation and practice supervision of an allied health professional in the provision of effective patient care.
