We're excited to welcome a Pharmacist Pre-registration (First Nations New Graduate Pathway) to our Pharmacy Team. The Allied Health First Nations Graduate Pathway ('the Pathway') is designed to provide a culturally safe and supportive entry to practice for allied health graduates of First Nations background. Successful completion of the pre-registration year, employees will transition into the two-year pathway as a Registered Pharmacist. Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. Key Responsibilities include - Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist: Participate in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services, working within a learning environment. Dispense patients' prescriptions, ensuring effective and appropriate medications are provided for patients. Provide patient counselling on the appropriate use of medications. Undertake the required training programmes as agreed for hospital pre-registration (intern) pharmacists. Participate in professional projects within the department which may include completing a practice research project e.g. drug use evaluation or performance of safety audits. Remuneration value up to $132 567p.a., comprising salary between $79 051 - $116 189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fixed Term Temporary position available for 12 months).
