Working within established frameworks, policies, and strategic direction set by the Strategy, Planning and Programs Division and Corporate Services Division, the role ensures the effective and efficient implementation of regional conservation programs. We're looking for someone with: Demonstrated experience in leading conservation or natural resource management programs in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, conservation, land management or a related discipline are essential. Sound knowledge of conservation program delivery, including pest plant and animal management, threatened species and ecological process management, and fire ecology. Understanding of operational planning and delivery in a public land management context, including contract management and regulatory compliance.
