We’re looking for a proactive People & Culture Advisor who’s excited by variety, empowered by autonomy, and motivated to shape a positive, safe, and high‑performing workplace. In this hands-on generalist role, you’ll take the lead across the full employee lifecycle — recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and WHS. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and leadership team, with the freedom to influence culture, refine processes, and drive continuous improvement. What You’ll Take Charge Of Recruitment & Onboarding: Run end-to-end recruitment and craft induction experiences that set people up for success. Employee Relations: Provide trusted advice on policies, performance, and workforce planning. Training & Development: Coordinate compliance, WHS, and leadership training — and elevate programs with your own ideas. Workplace Health & Safety: Lead WHS systems, SOPs, risk assessments, and incident response. Policy & Compliance: Keep employment legislation and certification standards on track. Reporting & Admin: Maintain accurate records and support commercial objectives with clarity and initiative. What You’ll Bring HR, Business, or equivalent qualification/experience. Strong understanding of Tasmanian employment legislation and WHS requirements. Experience in People & Culture advisory roles, including employee relations and performance management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust at all levels. Strong attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
