We are working with a global enterprise software provider to secure a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive to own and lead sales across Malaysia . In this role, you would help organisations eliminate fragmented point solutions by offering a single, unified software platform that improves efficiency in managing complex hybrid IT environments while significantly reducing IT costs. You would be the sole enterprise seller leading the country leveraging a wider team for presales, sales development, marketing etc! Strategic Enterprise Sales Account Executive (Malaysia) We are seeking a senior strategic sales professional to lead all sales activity across Malaysia for our client. The country will effectively be yours to own. You will be supported by presales and technical resources from the wider APAC team, while taking responsibility for formulating the country sales strategy, identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities, and growing existing enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of sales experience , with proven success selling enterprise platforms into large organisations (including top 20-40 enterprise logos). You will be comfortable engaging CTOs and CFOs, positioning a value proposition focused on operational resilience, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) through tool consolidation, and replacing multiple fragmented solutions with a single, unified platform for managing complex hybrid IT environments. You will work independently but collaboratively with a broader team including ISRs, SDRs, Marketing, and Presales, as well as alongside System Integrators, Alliance Partners, and Channel Partners. Our client already has strong reference customers in Malaysia across Telco, BFSI, and large Enterprise , creating opportunities to upsell and cross-sell into existing accounts. In parallel, you will drive new logo acquisition across major enterprises and government organisations, either through direct selling (with handoff to channel partners) or via partner-led opportunities. Responsibilities Own and drive sales across Malaysia as the sole country sales lead Upsell and cross-sell the broader solution portfolio into existing accounts Win new enterprise customers directly and through channel partners Develop the public sector opportunity in Malaysia, an under-penetrated but high-growth segment Execute daily sales activities including prospecting, lead generation, and meeting creation (directly and via marketing and sales development teams) Collaborate closely with SI alliance partners, channel partners, and the channel manager Participate in on-site customer meetings and live events Manage pipeline, provide accurate weekly forecasts, and consistently meet or exceed quarterly targets Qualifications 10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in direct enterprise software sales Strong ability to sell at C-suite level, with the technical and business acumen to tie solutions to measurable business outcomes Proven track record of qualifying, closing, and forecasting complex enterprise deals A true hunter mindset, comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with regional and partner teams to grow a country business On Offer A package of $450,000 Malaysian ringgit, (50% base / 50 comms) family health, car insurance etc A huge opportunity to sell into new enterprise logos and government A huge opportunity to leverage systems integrators, alliance & channel partners to promote/sell your solutions Uncapped Earnings.
