We are seeking a reliable Service Truck Operator to operate and maintain a new Volvo 15-tonne automatic diesel service trucks. This role supports field operations by delivering fuel, oils, and consumables, performing basic servicing tasks, and keeping mobile service rigs running smoothly. The position suits a hands-on all-rounder who takes pride in safe, efficient work. Key Responsibilities Truck & Fleet Operations Operate Volvo 15T automatic diesel service trucks safely and professionally Conduct daily pre-start checks and report defects Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the truck and service equipment Comply with road rules, fatigue management, and company safety policies Dispense and fill engine oils, hydraulic oils, transmission fluids, coolants, and greases Identify correct oil specifications for different equipment and machinery Accurately record fluid usage and stock levels Prevent cross-contamination and spills during filling operation Set up and operate mobile service rigs at job site Assist with basic servicing tasks (filters, greasing, topping up fluids) Support maintenance crews and site personnel as require Perform minor troubleshooting on pumps, hoses, and service equipment Skills & Experience Previous experience operating service trucks or heavy vehicles Sound knowledge of diesel engines, oils, and lubricants Comfortable working independently in field environments Mechanically minded with strong attention to detail Good communication and basic record-keeping skills Licences & Requirements Valid Heavy Vehicle licence (or appropriate class for 15T trucks) White Card (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing Forklift or loader ticket (desirable but not essential) Contact Sararuddy@mmfs.com.au Call 0483 001 620
