SSI Group is seeking a Work Health & Safety Advisor to play a key role in supporting our people and strengthening our safety culture.As a trusted WHS business partner, you’ll provide practical advice, guidance, and education to managers and staff on all aspects of workplace health and safety. You’ll drive initiatives aligned to SSI’s WH&S Plan, deliver audits and workplace assessments, and support continuous improvement across the organisation.This role offers breadth and variety—you’ll coordinate safety committees, manage injury management and workers’ compensation processes, support reasonable workplace adjustments, and contribute to meaningful reporting that highlights trends and emerging risks. You’ll work closely with the WH&S Manager, People & Culture colleagues, and stakeholders across SSI to help make our workplaces safer every day.The Work Health & Safety Advisor position is a part-time (3 days) max-term contract until the end of June 2026, with potential to extend after this date.About YouYou’re a proactive, solutions-focused WHS professional who enjoys building strong relationships and influencing positive change. You bring:Relevant qualifications or experience in Workplace Health & Safety.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, and standards in Australia.Considerable experience in a similar role, ideally within a diverse or multi-site environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.The ability to prioritise, manage competing demands, and adopt a practical, can-do approach.A genuine passion for safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.Interested in helping shape a safer workplace for our people and communities?
