Male Disability Support Worker – SIL | Armstrong Creek We are currently seeking for an experienced MALE Disability Support Worker to join our dedicated and supportive team in Armstrong Creek . In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home. You will assist individuals to live safely, confidently, and with dignity through supports including personal care, community access, and household tasks, delivered in line with individual care plans and allied health strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoy structured rosters, overnight sleepovers, and being part of a consistent, team-based environment. SHIFTS (MUST be available for ALL the shifts below): 33 hours per fortnight - set fortnightly roster Week 1 Monday: 3:00pm – 10:00pm (Sleepover from 10:00pm to 6:00am) Thursday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm Friday: 6:00am – 9:00am Saturday: 5:00pm – 10:00pm (Sleepover from 10:00pm to 6:00am) - Active again from 6:00am to 9:00am Week 2 Monday: 7:00am – 9:00am Wednesday: 6:00am – 9:00am Thursday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm Friday: 7:00am – 9:00am About You We are looking for reliable and compassionate workers who have: Previous experience working in a SIL (Supported Independent Living) home Experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy Ability to implement strategies provided by Allied Health professionals Confidence providing personal care Experience supporting individuals with Behaviours of Concern Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Pay Rates SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 If you’re an experienced Disability Support Worker looking for flexible casual work and the opportunity to support a diverse range of clients, we’d love to hear from you.
