As a Community Support Worker (Aged Care Worker), you will provide respectful, person‑centred in‑home support to older people living in the community under the Support at Home program . Working primarily on a one‑to‑one basis, you will deliver services autonomously in clients’ homes , following individual care plans and organisational policies. Your responsibilities may include: Assisting with personal care such as showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication assistance (where trained) Providing domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping Offering companionship and social support , encouraging participation in social and community activities Supporting transport and community access , including appointments and outings (where required) Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in clients’ wellbeing Maintaining accurate records in line with aged care standards and regulatory requirements Requirements To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: A compassionate, respectful, and person‑centred approach to care Ability to work independently without direct supervision in clients’ homes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliability, flexibility, and effective time‑management Essential / Highly desirable: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services (or willingness to obtain) Current National Police Check and relevant worker screening Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain) Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (for community‑based roles) Ability to understand, comply with, and uphold the Aged Care Code of Conduct in all interactions Ability to maintain vaccination status as required by government, funding bodies, and host agencies (Regal Care respects individual choices and personal preferences regarding vaccinations; however, compliance with applicable vaccination requirements is mandatory when undertaking shifts where such requirements apply) Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays Benefits At Support at Home (a Regal Care business), we value and invest in our people.
