The Gig An exciting opportunity is now available for a hands-on, delivery-focused Landscape Leading Hand / Supervisor to take the lead on a large landscape project in the heart of Sydney. This role suits someone who thrives in a practical environment, takes ownership of daily delivery, and sets the standard on site through clear direction and consistency. Based in Sydney and reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating crews, subcontractors, plant and materials to keep works moving safely and to programme. You’ll work closely with project teams to interpret drawings, sequence activities, and ensure site execution aligns with project requirements. Delivery focus underpins everything you do, demonstrated through sound construction sequencing, strong quality control, proactive problem solving, and a commitment to delivering well-finished works to specification. What you’ll be trusted with: Leading the day-to-day delivery of civil and landscape construction works Supervising site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project specifications Coordinating labour, plant, materials, and deliveries to maintain programme Implementing construction sequences in line with approved drawings and plans Running prestarts, toolbox talks, and maintaining strong site communication Ensuring compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental requirements Managing site documentation, diaries, and progress reporting accurately Identifying and resolving site issues early to avoid delays Supporting project teams with practical input and on-site problem solving What’s in your toolbox? Certificate III in Landscape Construction or equivalent 3 years supervising andscape construction works Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings NSW White Card and valid driver’s licence Sound WHS knowledge and site leadership capability You’re the kind of person who leads from the front, keeps sites organised, communicates clearly, and takes pride in delivering compliant, tidy, and well-finished works without unnecessary noise or fuss.
