You will be responsible for: Managing a tenancy portfolio in line with the Residential Tenancies Act, internal policies, and organisational values Providing high‑quality, respectful, and timely tenancy management services to customers Proactively managing vacancies, allocations, and property turnaround times Co‑managing rent assessments, arrears, tenancy‑related debt, and end‑of‑tenancy processes to meet financial targets Advocating and negotiating to achieve balanced outcomes that support tenancy sustainability and organisational requirements Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including support and referral partners Maintaining accurate records, including leases, tenant and property data, compliance documentation, and risk assessments What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated experience in tenancy management within community housing or a comparable environment Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience (e.g. Certificate IV in Social Housing or similar) Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and best‑practice tenancy management principles Highly developed customer service and communication skills Proven ability to manage complex tenancy issues, advocate effectively, and negotiate outcomes If you’re an experienced tenancy professional seeking a role where your expertise is genuinely valued — whether in a permanent capacity or a 12‑month contract — we encourage you to apply.
