Labourer - Illawarra Region Pay Rate: $47.62 per hour Location : Illawarra Region Work Schedule : 9 day fortnight We are seeking a motivated Labourer to join a dynamic field services team operating throughout the Northern Illawarra. This role plays a key part in the delivery of civil maintenance works across stormwater systems, pedestrian pathways, road verges and public infrastructure. The position offers stability, strong safety culture, competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to essential community outcomes. Core Responsibilities Execute civil labouring activities across stormwater networks, culverts, sidewalks, pavement edges and roadside verges Assist with minor concreting, drainage works, reinstatement and surface repair tasks Support excavation works and operate tools and equipment associated with civil maintenance Carry out site preparation, debris removal and clean-up activities post-works Ensure tools, vehicles and equipment are maintained in good working order Adhere to WHS safety protocols, signage requirements and environmental controls Work collaboratively within a field crew to achieve planned outputs and service timeframes Candidate Requirements Current driver's licence (mandatory) Reliable transport to transit throughout the Northern Illawarra region (transport provided) PPE compliant and physically capable of repetitive outdoor work Strong reliability, communication skills and willingness to learn Previous civil, maintenance, landscaping or construction labouring experience What's on Offer $47.62 per hour penalties Day-fortnight roster structure Safe and supportive field-based environment Exposure to structured civil maintenance practices and compliance frameworks Immediate start preferred with continuity available for high performers We look forward to your application.
