Description Based in our Brisbane office and leading a team of 3 practitioners, this position acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, supporting complex employee matters while designing and maintaining scalable frameworks that enable performance, engagement, wellbeing, diversity and psychological safety. Responsibilities Remuneration & Benefits: Lead and manage the end‑to‑end remuneration framework, including systems, processes, governance and policy Lead the annual remuneration and bonus review cycle, including modelling, approvals, communications and implementation Ensure compliance with internal governance, relevant legislation and audit requirements Provide market benchmarking, internal equity analysis and remuneration recommendations to leaders Manage salary packaging and benefits programs in line with organisational policy Reward & Recognition: Design, implement and manage reward and recognition programs that reinforce organisational values and performance culture Monitor effectiveness and uptake of programs and make data‑driven improvements Partner with leaders to embed recognition into day‑to‑day people leadership practices Job Architecture & Grading: Own job architecture frameworks including job profiles, job families, and grading Lead job evaluation, benchmarking and role design activities Ensure clarity and consistency in role definitions to support career pathways, pay equity and workforce planning Industrial & Employee Relations: Lead and manage complex IR and ER matters including consultation processes, disputes, grievances and investigations Provide expert advice on employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and workplace relations risks Develop and deliver ER and people leadership training to managers and leaders Manage external advisors and representation as required Policy Development & Governance: Lead the development, review and maintenance of HR and people‑related policies and procedures Ensure policies reflect legislative requirements, organisational values and best practice Support governance, audit and risk management requirements related to people matters Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Support the design and implementation of DEI policies, frameworks and programs Partner with leaders to embed inclusive practices across recruitment, performance, reward and development Monitor DEI metrics and support continuous improvement Psychological Safety & Wellbeing: Champion psychological safety, respectful workplace behaviours and employee wellbeing Partner with leaders to address psychosocial risks and support safe, healthy work environments Support wellbeing initiatives, frameworks and early intervention strategies Qualifications Essential: Extensive experience in senior HR, ER and remuneration roles within complex environments Formal qualifications in HR, Industrial Relations, Law or a related discipline Strong expertise in remuneration design, job evaluation and performance calibration In‑depth knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks Proven ability to influence senior leaders and operate as a trusted advisor Desirable: Experience leading organisation‑wide remuneration or job architecture projects Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations, disputes and investigations Background in large, multi‑site EA or unionised environments Key Competencies: Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen High levels of integrity, judgment and confidentiality Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to balance employee advocacy with organisational risk and performance What are the benefits of working for Harmony?
