About the programme Designed for penultimate year students, our 12-week summer internship programme commences in November 2026. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to immerse yourself in bp and gain invaluable insight as to what a career at bp could look like. Over the course of the internship programme, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about our graduate programme through networking, training & information sessions and be early considered for our 2027 One Commercial graduate programme. About you You’ll have strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver results in a collaborative environment. Your agility to learn and adapt will be key along with the energy, motivation, and ownership to make the most of this fantastic opportunity. You’ll be comfortable making courageous and bold decisions, have digital fluency, a keen eye for analytics and the insights they provide. Even though good levels of numeracy are important, you won’t necessarily need a formal technical background. You’ll bring well-rounded life experience, and your strong academic results will be supported by some work experience, everything from customer service to industry experience is great! We know you’re early in your career – we don’t expect you to be an expert. As a bp intern, you will have an interest and/or skill in delivering economic value back to a business, identifying solutions and strategies resulting in cost savings and a natural negotiation style.
