Description I-MED offers six or twelve-month Fellowship programs to set you up for success in your career as a radiologist. These are offered in a “hybrid” format, with a combination of dedicated Fellowship and Consultant time. This gives you the opportunity to work with some of Australia’s leading imaging specialists, as well as experience our culture. Hybrid Fellowship: Advanced Training in Breast Imaging – Albury Wodonga The Albury-based Fellowship incorporates personalised training in comprehensive breast imaging modalities across I-MED’s private and public hospital services in the region. This fellowship provides exposure to the full spectrum of diagnostic and interventional breast imaging , including: Advanced diagnostic breast imaging and intervention across 2D & 3D mammography , contrast-enhanced mammography , breast ultrasound , and breast MRI Procedural training in core and vacuum-assisted biopsy , marker placement , and pre-surgical localisation Active participation in the fortnightly Breast Oncology Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings administered by Albury Wodonga Health — the first associate member of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre Alliance BreastScreen NSW training , including screen reading and assessment using 3D mammography, ultrasound, and interventional techniques Involvement in Post-Assessment MDT meetings and BreastScreen Clinical Quality meetings The position offers full supervision across both private and public hospital-based practice , including BreastScreen NSW sites in Albury and Wagga Wagga , within a supportive and collaborative team of experienced breast and general radiologists. General Radiologist sessions will be based across I-MED Radiology Border clinics , providing varied case exposure; candidates must be willing to travel within the region . Why choose I-MED?
