What you'll contribute to Based at our flagship hybrid agile Operations Centre in Scoresby, Melbourne, the Head of Settlements & Fulfilment role presents a rare opportunity for a proven operational leader to take ownership of a critical, high-volume function within Toyota Finance Australia. We are seeking a senior leader with demonstrated experience managing large-scale, fast-paced operational environments, ideally within contact centre or high-volume processing environments, who can lead complex teams through change while maintaining strong customer, compliance, and performance outcomes. In this role, you will lead the strategy, performance, and people leadership of the Settlements & Fulfilment function, overseeing retail and fleet settlements, retail pre-verification, originations support teams, and retail and fleet PPSR activities. These teams play a critical role in delivering efficient, high-quality outcomes for both retail and fleet customers, while supporting Dealer Distribution and Direct Distribution channels. Working closely with the Head of Lending and broader Operations leadership, you will help shape the strategic direction and operating rhythm required to deliver scalable, customer-focused lending solutions. A key focus will be building operational capability, driving performance consistency, and ensuring systems, processes, and workforce models support an industry-leading originations and fulfilment experience. You will oversee end-to-end originations support activities delivered across voice and written channels, ensuring service quality, compliance, and efficiency are maintained at scale. As a senior member of the Originations leadership team, you will lead through multiple leadership layers, building capability within people leaders and fostering a high-performance culture aligned to balanced scorecard and Hoshin objectives. The role also carries accountability for ensuring operations are conducted in line with company policy, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite, while continuously identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce cost-to-serve, and improve operational resilience. In collaboration with other Operations Heads of Department, you will play a key role in strategic planning and transformation initiatives across the division, ensuring operations can scale effectively while maintaining strong customer and commercial outcomes. This role is ideally suited to a senior operations leader who has successfully led large, high-volume teams, understands the dynamics of contact centre and transaction-heavy environments, and thrives in complex, fast-moving operational settings where performance, customer outcomes, and change delivery must all be balanced simultaneously. Your attributes Minimum 7 years’ accumulative experience in Operations Management, overseeing large, fast paced teams. Experience in call centre, back office or front of house administrative teams Experience working in a highly regulated environment Strong influencing and communication skills, written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to develop effective and trusted relationships across all levels of the business, internal and external.
