We are assisting our client in their search for a full-time Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join their well-established legal practice located in the Surfers Paradise / Broadbeach area. This is a key front-of-house role , ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience while also enjoying variety through general administrative and project work support ( such as events planning etc). The team are fun and boast an excellent culture. The Role This role is centred on front-of-house and customer service . You will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring the firm is represented in a welcoming, professional, and organised manner at all times. While other team members may manage invoicing and fee processing, your priority will always remain the client experience . Administrative support will be varied and purposeful, supporting the broader team and one of the firm's Partners with project-based work rather than transactional tasks. Hours of work: 8.30am - 5pm (Monday to Friday) Office Based Duties include: Answering calls , taking messages of booking appointments Diary entries Administration duties - open new legal case files, filing, Processing invoices Managing excel spreadsheet for reporting Ensuring the meeting rooms are prepared Stationary & office supply management Other basic office duties Applicant Requirements To be successful in this role, you will be someone who genuinely enjoys working in a client-facing position and understands the importance of first impressions in a professional services environment. Experience within a Legal firm will be highly regarded Strong administrator, with excellent written communication skills Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work Attention to detail and someone very organized in thier work Excellent verbal communication skills Strong organisational and planning skills Proficient in MS Office Experience with client management software, LEAP desirable but not essential Someone flexible in thier approach to work, willing to help as and when required This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, variety, and the chance to be part of a professional and supportive legal team where your role is genuinely valued.
