Job Details: Responsible for the daily planning, operations and management considerations for program delivery within the Exercise and Training Service program. Manages staff, resources, and technical requirements to produce the contractually required end product (s) within the cost, technical, and schedule requirements of the contract in support of corporate business plan goals. T his role will require a highly experienced individual to closely coordinate planning efforts to meet customer requirements. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Establish operational priorities and schedules to meet assigned requirements. Support the design and implementation of governance requirements where directed in support of the program or company. Manage contract delivery requirements IAW the current Commercial arrangements . Receives, prioritises and tracks delivery requirements for activities in order to identify and adapt to any identified challenges. Manage key events and contract deliverables within the CITSS Program of Directed Activities (PDA). Directs manning requirements to fill identified positions. Manage all aspects of labour requirements for contract delivery, inclusive of permanent, casual and subcontracted staff in support of requirements . Manage contract delivery requirements in remote ( ie field) locations where , inclusive of required field accommodation planning and onsite management. Interface with customer on contract delivery specifics and requirements, inclusive of logistics and manning requirements. Confirm specifics with PM to enable accurate quoting and costings ahead of contract delivery. Coordinate with Program Support Staff to define key travel and administrative support for the conduct of contract delivery. Represent the Program and the Company on required visits and conferences as directed. Conduct regular evaluation and review meetings and/or Working Groups to identify current and future problems and initiate actions for their resolution . Arrange and attend meetings with the customer as . Prepare and submit progress reports to higher management and to the customer when . Maintain regular liaison with all program contributors to ensure the necessary level of communication is in place to assure realization of their commitments . Coordinate with other programs as to achieve cost efficiencies and support wider company requirements. Participate in approval of make/buy decisions for the program . Monitor and evaluate subcontractors’ performance to ensure requirements are met . Verify timely invoicing requirements are provided to Program Support. Represent or support the PM where or during his/her absence. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance responsiveness . BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 years military or related experience K nowledge and skills associated with Project Management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills E xcellent oral and written communication skill . Patience and ability to deal with a wide variety of departmental issues. Must possess broad-based computer skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Skilled at team building and consensus building. Pro-active leader who is decisive and action oriented. Strong business writing and verbal communication skills to establish and develop effective client relationships and present complex information and management reporting to different target audiences Able to show resilience, pursuing challenging situations with drive to meet specified goals Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance . Have the flexibility to travel when required as this role will require periods of travel and extended hours. CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: Successful outcome of a National Police Check.
