With a focus on quality pub dining and consistent service, the hotel is seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join its busy kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with menu and service standards Ensuring consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation Assisting with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness Receiving, checking, and storing food supplies and ingredients Assisting with stock control, rotation, and minimising wastage Working collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff during service Assisting with preparation for functions and busy service periods Following food safety, WHS, and venue procedures at all times Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment About You Relevant commercial cookery qualification or equivalent experience Experience working in a busy pub, hotel, or restaurant kitchen Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays What We Offer Secure full-time position Supportive team environment Opportunity to work in a well-regarded Nelson Bay venue Competitive salary based on experience Click “Apply for this job” to register your interest in this fulltime salaried position with a starting salary $75K - $80K (plus super)
