JP Recruitment is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yard Supervisor to join a large scale rural logistics operation based in Perth. This is a hands-on role responsible for the daily movement, staging, loading, and monitoring of large manufactured products, components, and associated equipment within the yard. The role plays a key part in ensuring all products are handled, loaded, and dispatched safely, efficiently, and in line with delivery plans. Key Responsibilities Stage products and components in line with daily operational requirements Load and unload products and accessories onto delivery vehicles Follow load plans prepared by the Logistics Coordinator Secure loads using appropriate dunnage, tyres, and strapping techniques Liaise with the Logistics Coordinator/Supervisor regarding load changes, shortages, or damaged items Operate forklifts safely and in accordance with site and company procedures Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free yard environment Store straps, angles, pallets, and tyres correctly and neatly throughout the day Ensure equipment keys are removed when machinery is not in use Participate in training, meetings, and workplace communications Perform other duties as directed by management Skills & Experience Experience in a supervisory role – you will be leading a small team Current forklift licence with demonstrated safe operating experience Ability to read and follow pick lists, manifests, and load plans Strong attention to detail with a focus on preventing product damage Good organisational and time management skills Clear and professional communication skills Reliable, safety-first attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Safety & Compliance Strong commitment to WHS, environmental, quality, and compliance standards Active participation in workplace safety systems Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment What’s On Offer Stable, ongoing permanent employment Competitive day shift pay rate of $45–$50 per hour Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities A workplace that genuinely values safety, teamwork, and professionalism Apply now through JP Recruitment if you’re looking for a hands-on Yard Supervisor role with strong pay, stability, and long-term career potential.
