Director – M&A Advisory Perth | Professional Services Firm A Top 10 mid tier advisory firm is looking to appoint a Director within its M&A Advisory practice in Perth. This is a senior leadership role offering genuine autonomy, market visibility, and the opportunity to shape the growth of a well-established corporate finance platform in Western Australia. You will lead buy-side and sell-side M&A engagements, working closely with business owners, investors, private equity and senior executives. As a senior leader, you’ll take ownership of transaction delivery, business origination, client relationships and team development. This role suits a commercially minded M&A professional who wants to play a hands-on role in building a strong and sustainable WA deal pipeline, supported by a national and international network. Key Responsibilities Originate and lead M&A advisory mandates across buy-side and sell-side transactions Manage the full deal lifecycle including buyer identification, information memorandum preparation, data room oversight, negotiations and completion Act as a trusted advisor to clients and key stakeholders throughout transactions Drive business development activity and contribute to market growth strategies Collaborate with colleagues across Australia and offshore to source and execute opportunities Lead, mentor and develop team members in a fast-growing practice Key requirements include: 8 years’ experience in M&A, corporate finance or corporate development Minimum 4 years’ experience managing and developing teams Demonstrated success in originating and executing advisory engagements High ethical standards and strong professional judgement Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong financial modelling, analysis and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines autonomously Experience working with lawyers, bankers, brokers and other deal participants Exposure to private equity and mid-market transactions Why Join?
