We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong pavement construction background to support both tender pricing and project delivery across a growing pipeline of civil works. This role suits a hands-on PE who has spent a solid part of their career delivering pavement projects end-to-end — from take-offs and methodology through to site delivery, QA, and close-out. The Role You’ll be involved early in tenders and RFQs, then stay across the project through construction to ensure strong commercial and technical alignment. Key focus areas include: Delivery of pavement works (asphalt, sprayed seals, rigid & flexible pavements) Subgrade preparation, stabilisation, proof rolling and sequencing Pavement design interpretation, constructability and QA (ITPs, testing, specifications) Tender pricing, take-offs, RFQs and variations On-site engineering support and subcontractor coordination Project QA, as-builts and handover documentation Supporting drainage and minor services works where required About You 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractor Strong, hands-on pavement construction experience (essential) Proven involvement in estimating and tender pricing Solid understanding of pavement QA requirements and civil specifications Comfortable working across pre-contracts and site delivery Why This Role Pavement-focused position with real influence from tender through to delivery Stable pipeline of civil projects Close collaboration with commercial and delivery teams Practical, delivery-driven environment — not a paperwork PE role If you’re a pavement-driven Project Engineer looking to be involved in the full project lifecycle, this is a strong next step.
