This role will focus on Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance and risk-related activities to ensure that the systems, networks, and data are protected. The Digital Health Group Security Hub works in conjunction with the ACT Government Cyber Security team to protect Health and Community Services and ACT Government systems, networks, and data. Under the broad direction of the Cyber Security Director, you will be responsible for: Provide technical support and advice to staff and vendors relating to Vendor Privileged Management Systems. Develop and maintain relevant technical and standard operating procedure documentation. Provide security operations support, including monitor, validation and analysis of vulnerability data collected from vulnerability scans and external source. Triage and respond to reported security advisory alerts and vulnerabilities, and requests to ensure they are appropriately prioritized and remediated. Stay current of emerging threats and vulnerabilities and contribute to continuous improvement. Ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders to review and remediate the vulnerabilities. Supporting the development of security related reports, documentation, and proposals. Provide administrative or technical advice to staff within the Health and Community Services and Canberra Health Services directorates on matters related to cyber security. Generating, updating and/or reporting on cyber security risk registers, metrics and performance. Undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the Directorate. Experience in Cyber Security and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in Cyber Security or a related field. Professional certifications in ICT Security. There may be a requirement to be on-call for this role to assist in the support of security-related systems.
