We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams across major power generation assets in Central Australia. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on strategic leadership, technical excellence, and driving high performance maintenance outcomes. The Opportunity This is a 4-year fixed term position overseeing the preventative and corrective maintenance programs across two key power generation sites. You'll lead a diverse team of mechanical, electrical, planning and support personnel to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of critical infrastructure. This senior leadership role suits someone who balances strategic planning with hands-on operational oversight, while fostering a positive and safety-driven culture. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, development and direction to multi-disciplinary maintenance teams. Deliver effective long and short term maintenance planning, scheduling and execution. Oversee asset reliability, availability and lifecycle optimisation. Coordinate major works, outages and project delivery with internal and external stakeholders. Implement strategies, policies and maintenance programs to support operational performance. Drive a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement and accountability. Prepare workforce plans, contingency plans and succession strategies to support team capability and operational continuity. About You You are a strategic and people-focused leader with strong technical knowledge and a passion for high quality maintenance outcomes. You bring a balanced approach to leadership, able to motivate teams, build relationships, and make informed decisions in complex, fast moving environments. Essential Criteria Proven leadership and managerial experience within maintenance, heavy industry, utilities, or similar environments. Experience managing asset maintenance through computer-based systems. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. Demonstrated capability in safety leadership, quality systems, and continuous improvement. Ability to make sound judgements, prioritise competing demands and deliver results. Knowledge and experience relevant to power generation or large-scale industrial operations. Desirable Qualifications in electrical or mechanical trades/engineering. Additional qualifications in leadership or management. Team Structure You will lead approximately 19 team members, including: Maintenance Planners / Schedulers Mechanical & Electrical Tradespeople Apprentice Facilities & Administration Support Additional Information The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and provide a current National Police Check.
