Our client is an industry-leading freight distributor , servicing Tasmania, regional Victoria, Metro Melbourne, NSW and South Australia. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join their afternoon shift team. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for operating a counter-balance forklift within the breakdown dock and surrounding areas. You'll play a key part in supporting freight operations in a fast-paced transport environment. Key Duties: Operating counter-balance forklift on the breakdown dock Feeding pallets of freight to the breakdown crew (fast-paced) Assisting with loading and unloading line-haul trucks (where experienced) Operating forklifts with 2.2 metre long tines AND short times (experience essential) Providing support across other areas as required, including Country sortation, sort Points, Scanning and Breakdown of freight About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A valid LF Forklift Licence Strong counter-balance forklift experience, including long tine & short tine operation Proven experience in a freight or transport environment Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude Shift Details 5 days per week 4:00pm start 20-25 hours per week If you're a reliable forklift operator looking for consistent afternoon hours with a well-established freight company, we'd love to hear from you.
