About Lyka: Lyka was founded in 2018 by Anna Podolsky , inspired by her dog, Lyka , who was suffering from chronic health issues despite being on “premium” kibble. Together with Gabriel Guedes (COO) and Dr. Matthew Muir (Integrative Veterinarian), they built Lyka from the ground up with one core belief: better food can radically improve a pet’s healthspan and quality of life . Lyka’s meals are vet-formulated and gently cooked from real food ingredients . Delivered via a flexible subscription model, Lyka meals have driven remarkable improvements for tens of thousands of customers, supporting gut health, reducing intolerances, improving energy and mobility, and even promoting hair growth. What began as home-cooked meals has since scaled into one of Australia’s fastest-growing consumer companies , a vertically integrated, tech-enabled brand that is transforming pet health nationwide. Lyka now operates from two offices, Sydney (HQ) and Melbourne , with three state-of-the-art food production facilities (two in Sydney, one in Melbourne) and a growing national footprint. At Lyka, we’re not just selling pet food—we’re pioneering a new standard of wellness for pets. With strong product-market fit, deep customer love, and a track record of rapid growth, we’re now entering our most ambitious chapter yet: building a generational brand and category-defining business with global impact. The role: This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a high-performing warehouse and fulfilment operation in a regulated food environment. You’ll be responsible for warehousing and fulfilment across our Dandenong South manufacturing site and the National Fulfilment Centre. This role sits at the heart of our operations and plays a critical part in making sure product is stored, handled and delivered safely, compliantly and on time. You won’t just be keeping the wheels turning. You’ll be setting standards, developing leaders, and helping shape how our operation scales. What you’ll do You’ll lead the day-to-day warehousing and fulfilment operation, owning safety, food quality, compliance and performance across the site and network. A big part of your role is building a strong culture on the floor, coaching Team Leaders and operators, and making sure standards are lived, not just written down. You’ll ensure the warehouse operates in line with food safety, quality and environmental requirements, including FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP. You’ll keep the operation audit-ready at all times, with strong traceability, stock control and cold-chain integrity from receivals through to dispatch. You’ll work closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics to make sure production plans are supported, orders go out on time, and issues are resolved quickly. When things don’t go to plan, you’ll lead investigations, identify root causes and put practical fixes in place. You’ll also play a key role in continuous improvement, helping embed operational excellence, 5S and LEAN ways of working, and driving consistent use of our WMS across inbound, storage and outbound activities. Requirements What we’re looking for: You’re an experienced Warehouse or Fulfilment Manager who has led teams in a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment. You’re comfortable running a complex operation with multiple shifts, high volumes and strict quality and safety standards. You know food safety systems inside out and have hands-on experience working with HACCP, GMP and ISO-aligned quality frameworks. You’re confident leading audits, managing non-conformances and maintaining full traceability. Just as importantly, you’re a people-first leader. You enjoy developing others, setting clear expectations and holding teams accountable in a calm, practical way. You’re visible on the floor, communicate well with stakeholders at all levels, and take pride in building a strong, engaged team culture. You’re organised, systems-minded and comfortable using WMS and operational reporting to drive better outcomes. You’re also flexible and pragmatic, understanding that manufacturing and fulfilment don’t always run to a perfect plan.
