We are currently seeking a Technical Lead to join the team as a consultant on a 12-month contract . This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative initiatives while continuing to support and enhance critical legacy applications and systems within a complex enterprise environment. The Role As Technical Lead, you will play a key role in translating business requirements into robust technical solutions while guiding development best practices across the team. Key Responsibilities include: Analyse user and business requirements and translate them into application features and technical designs Design and implement new application features as part of ongoing enhancements Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and business stakeholders Ensure adherence to technical design standards, code review processes, quality practices, and monitoring guidelines Perform unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing Apply development standards and recognised technical design patterns Stay current with evolving technologies, standards, and methodologies Actively participate in IT team ceremonies and processes Skills & Experience Required 5 years' experience in C# .NET development Strong background in application and solution design Experience with Azure , microservices , and AKS Hands-on experience with on-prem servers , networking, and off-the-shelf software solutions, including vendor collaboration Strong SQL experience (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL) Experience working within Agile delivery environments Nice to Have Exposure to AWS and/or Python Previous experience within the energy market or related domains What's on Offer 12-month contract with a highly competitive daily rate (up to 1000/day) Opportunity to work on impactful, large-scale systems within a global organisation Collaborative, forward-thinking technical environment Immediate start available Apply If you're an experienced Technical Lead looking for your next contract challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
