Project Manager - Building & Facilities Strathpine Location Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Rate: $59.61 - $63.33 per hour Super Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager with strong building and facilities delivery experience to join its Project Management team. This role will see you managing the end-to-end delivery of complex building and community infrastructure projects that directly support the needs of residents and the wider region. About the role Reporting to the Coordinator, Project Management & Delivery, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of building and facilities projects from planning and procurement through to construction, handover and defects. Key responsibilities include: Managing end-to-end delivery of building and facilities construction projects Coordinating consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders Overseeing procurement, contract administration and construction delivery Managing approvals, reporting, budgets and project schedules Resolving construction and delivery issues across active sites Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards and Council requirements Assessing and certifying contractor progress claims Providing technical advice and recommendations to stakeholders About you You're a confident and capable project professional who thrives in complex construction environments and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish. You will bring: Proven experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager Strong background in building and facilities projects (e.g. community buildings, sporting facilities, commercial buildings) Solid understanding of construction legislation, WHS and Australian Standards Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities A collaborative, safety-focused approach to project delivery Qualifications & requirements Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline Current C Class driver's licence Construction Induction Card (White Card) ACDC License or willing to obtain This is an opportunity to work on meaningful, community-focused infrastructure projects within a supportive council environment that values safety, collaboration and quality outcomes.
