Description An exciting career opportunity arises to join the City of Parramatta as a street sweeper in our growing Waste and Cleansing team. About the role While most of the City is still waking up, you’re already out on the road helping the city come to life. By 11:30am, you’re wrapping up your day with hours of daylight left for family, errands, or downtime. Solid work, good people, and a job that actually makes a difference. Permanent Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 2.30am - 11:30am What you'll be doing: Driving and operating a range of plant equipment, including street sweepers. Keep you gear (plant & equipment) clean, safe, and ready to roll. Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed. Tackling a variety of tasks as priorities shift throughout the morning Completing the agreed scheduled routes and work programs to keep Parramatta looking sharp. What’s on offer: We are offering a weekly remuneration from $1,305 up to $1,379 plus 12% Superannuation. This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance. You will have a strong understanding of small and heavy plant operations applicable to Cleansing Services. Licences Hold a current NSW MR Driver’s License White Card Want to know more?
