Accounts and Payroll Officer (Casual) Australian Surfacing Suppliers is a well-established, Australian-owned business based in Warragul and a recognised leader in premium surfacing solutions nationwide. They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts and Payroll Officer to manage the company's finance and payroll functions in a standalone, part-time role. The Role You will manage the end-to-end accounts and payroll functions, ensuring all financial processes run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with business requirements. In this part time office-based role, you will work 2 to 3 days per week, from 9am to 3pm. The position is initially offered as a 3-month casual engagement with potential to transition to permanent part time employment. Additional hours may be offered depending on workload. Key responsibilities include: Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Invoicing, payment processing, and international supplier payments Bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records Managing GST tracking and BAS preparation support End-to-end payroll processing in Xero (6 staff) Preparing purchase orders and processing financial transactions Month-end processes and preparing financial reports Preparing annual financial information for external accountants Providing general finance administration and data management Assisting operations with sales administration and invoicing when required You will work closely with management while independently overseeing the company's financial administration. About You You are a detail-oriented and process-driven finance professional who can manage accounts and payroll autonomously. You take ownership of your work, ensure accuracy in all tasks, and enjoy making financial processes more efficient.
