Hydraulic Hose Doctor - Roma Full-Time | Roma, QLD Pay: $30/hr (unskilled) up to $40/hr depending on experience Pay negotiable for the right person Work Vehicle: Potential to take a service truck home for candidates living outside the area Training provided Why This Role Exists: We are looking for someone to help support the growing workload across construction machinery, trucks, drilling rigs, and oil & gas support. You don’t need to be fully qualified — attitude matters more than tickets. We’re looking for someone who is: Mechanically minded and practical Comfortable working outdoors, in heat, dusty and tough environments Keen to learn and be trained the business’s way Reliable, switched-on and shows initiative Backgrounds We’re Open To Mechanical trade assistant Heavy vehicle or diesel mechanic apprentice Farm hand with strong mechanical exposure Plant or machinery maintenance worker Fitter or mechanically gifted person without a formal trade What You’ll Be Doing Mobile hydraulic hose replacement and breakdown response Hydraulic hose assembly and fitting Onsite fault finding Hydraulic cylinder strip and rebuild work Basic pump and motor work (training provided) Driving a service truck Customer interaction onsite Training & Support Ride-along training directly with the owner Gradual exposure to solo work Long-term development opportunity Work Environment Based in Roma Mostly local work Very occasional overnight stays Mobile service role Small, tight-knit operation Why Apply?
