About the role As a Crane Operator at Condor, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations across our energy and resources projects. You will operate mobile cranes, work closely with site teams, and ensure all lifts are completed in line with WHS legislation, site requirements and Condor’s high safety standards. This role suits safety-focused operators who enjoy hands-on work in dynamic, project-based environments. What you will do: • Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently in line with lift plans, load charts and site requirements • Complete pre-start inspections, daily checks and routine maintenance • Work closely with Dogmen, Riggers, Supervisors and crews to execute safe lifting operations • Monitor environmental and site conditions including wind, ground stability and exclusion zones • Participate in toolbox talks, Take 5s and safety meetings • Complete required documentation including crane logbooks, permits and checklists • Support rigging, material handling and site logistics as required • Exercise stop-work authority where unsafe conditions are identified About you To be successful in this role, you will bring: • High Risk Work Licence with Crane (C6 or above) • Ideally 1 year experience operating mobile cranes in industrial or construction environments • Dogging (DG or above) • Minimum HR driver’s licence • Demonstrated experience operating a 60t hydraulic all-terrain crane • Experience working in energy, resources, construction or heavy industrial environments • Strong understanding of lift planning, load charts and risk assessments • Commitment to safety leadership in high-risk environments • Ability to work extended hours and in FIFO/DIDO or remote project settings Desirable • Experience on Tier 1 energy or resources projects • Additional RII competencies • First Aid, CPR and Gas Test Atmospheres (or willingness to obtain) What’s in it for you • Competitive remuneration with project-based allowances • Opportunities to work across major energy and resources projects • A strong safety culture where your voice is valued • Access to Condor-X, our wellbeing and rewards program • Ongoing development and opportunities to broaden your skill set Ready to join the team?
