Senior Consultant – Occupational Hygiene: Sydney NSW Exciting opportunities exist in PRM’s Property Risk teams and we are looking for professional consultants that will be valuable members of our growing business. PRM provides risk management consulting services to clients in the field of occupational hygiene, hazardous materials, environmental and health and safety. An exciting opportunity exists in PRM’s Sydney Metro office, based in Artarmon, in the field of occupational hygiene. About the Role PRM are looking for a self-motivated, experienced, professional Senior Consultant in the field of Occupational Hygiene to join our growing team. The role will be to project manage, conduct site assessments/report development, quoting and assisting in training Occupational Hygienists and to assist in continual growth of the service line of the business. Reporting to the Team Leader - Occupational Hygiene, your role will include the following: Training and development of consultants in the field of occupational hygiene. Writing proposals and cost estimates. Project management and client liaison. Conducting site work and assisting team members site work for various clients and industries. Providing specialist knowledge and solutions in the area of occupational hygiene and producing high quality technical reports. Providing technical support to team members in the field of occupational hygiene and including reviewing of technical reports Do you have the following?: Provisional or Full Member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene (or able to obtain Full Membership in a short time frame) with approximately 4-5 years’ experience. Experience in all facets of occupational hygiene, including but not limited to, noise, hazardous substances and chemicals air monitoring, personal exposure monitoring programs. Understanding of the relevant sampling methods and legislation. Tertiary qualification in health and safety or occupational hygiene. Licensed asbestos assessor and/or professional experience in asbestos / hazardous materials (will be looked on favourably). Strong report writing skills, fieldwork and data management experience. Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and commercial awareness and willingness to assist in driving business growth. The ability to work effectively within a team environment, but also have the ability to work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Mobility and able to travel regionally as required, including working weekend and night shifts depending on specific project requirements. Why work for PRM?
