Key duties and responsibilities Manage and administer the Database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability and security. Design, document, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions based on SQL / Oracle platforms, in collaboration with business applications, enterprise architecture and technology engineers. Manage and collaborate with platform and business applications incidents and requests, ensuring high level of customer service and satisfaction in Database solutions. Lead and collaborate in technology projects, including lifecycle upgrades, PAAS migration. Develop and document automation and monitoring solutions to streamline operational efficiency, capacity and performance. Sustain and enhance the security and compliance of technology to meet organisation standard, ISM, Essential 8 and ensure data integrity. Maintain and improve documentation of resolutions and operating procedures, to work towards root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Qualifications, accreditations and experience Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant industry experience 5 years experience in IT engineering, design / build or Senior DBA Certifications in Database technology (MS-SQL, Oracle, Other) are highly desirable Practical knowledge of accountable technologies and implementation / operational support strategies Technology Accountabilities include: o SQL Server (MS-SQL, Azure SQL) o Oracle Server
