Your Mission: The Senior FP&A Manager plays a critical role in supporting value creation in a private-equity-backed business through high-quality financial analysis, modelling, and performance reporting. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role supports executive decision-making, investor reporting, and strategic initiatives by delivering clear, accurate , and commercially focused insights. A key focus of the role will be the design and build of scalable FP&A capability , including core financial models, reporting packs, dashboards, and performance frameworks. While tooling, automation, and AI-enabled solutions are expected to increasingly support ongoing reporting over time, the initial phase of the role requires strong hands-on execution to establish robust foundations. Responsibilities Value Creation & Performance Management Support value creation initiatives through: Driver-based financial models Scenario and sensitivity analysis Margin, cost, and unit-economics analysis Analyse financial and operational performance to identify risks, opportunities, and value drivers Partner with the CFO on commercial analysis to support pricing, investment, and growth decisions Planning, Forecasting & Modelling Build and maintain robust financial models used for: Budgets and rolling forecasts Medium and long -term planning and strategic scenarios Investment cases and capital allocation decisions Ensure models are scalable, transparent, and aligned with private equity reporting expectations Investor & Board Reporting Prepare and maintain high-quality reporting packs for: Executive leadership Board meetings Private equity owners (EQT) E xternal stakeholders , as Ensure reporting is: Consistent period-to-period Clearly reconciled to financial results Focused on KPIs, trends, and underlying drivers FP&A Setup, Tooling & Reporting Design Lead the initial build and design of FP&A models, reporting packs, dashboards, and performance frameworks , establishing a scalable foundation for the finance function Work closely with the CFO to define KPIs, value drivers, and reporting standards aligned to PE expectations Design reporting outputs with a view to future automation, efficiency, and AI-assisted analysis Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve data flows, data quality, and reporting architecture Support the transition from manual or semi-manual analysis to more automated, tool-enabled reporting over time Data Integrity & Insight Work with large and complex data sets from multiple systems Validate, reconcile, and stress-test data to ensure accuracy and credibility Translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights for senior stakeholders Tools, Systems & Continuous Improvement Develop advanced Excel-based models and analysis tools using: Power Query Power Pivot Pivot Tables Advanced formulas (e.g. XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS) Work with billing and revenue data, including Stripe and Stripe Sigma (where applicable) Continuously improve FP&A processes, reporting structures, and data flows to support scale What You Bring: Ideally, experience working in a private-equity-backed or investor-owned business, with exposure to board and investor reporting expectations 3–6 years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or financial analysis roles Experience in SaaS, PropT ech , or scaling businesses Demonstrated ability to bridge accounting data and FP&A analysis, including direct interaction with accounting systems to validate source data and ensure analytical outputs are financially sound Strong experience building and maintaining financial models used for executive or investor decision-making Advanced Excel capability, including data modelling and large-data handling Experience preparing board-level, investor, or PE reporting packs Exposure to private-equity-owned or investor-backed environments Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines Desirable Experience working with Stripe data, including analytics via Stripe Sigma Interest or experience in leveraging AI-enabled tools or automation to enhance financial analysis, forecasting, or reporting efficiency Exposure to emerging analytics, AI, or machine-learning tools applied to finance or data analysis Accounting qualification or progress toward CA / CPA (or equivalent) The Benefits and Perks A nurturing and empowering team to help you reach your full potential Strong opportunities for career development in a growing company High autonomy and recognition in your role Hybrid Working Style Beautiful office in Sydney CBD Vibrant culture Regular milestone parties Job security working for one of Australia's leading PropTech companies
