The Opportunity The Accounts Payable Officer plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, supporting strong financial controls across Dexus’s Finance Shared Services team. This 12‑month contract role is ideal for someone with solid AP experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships while contributing to a high‑performing finance operations function. What you’ll bring to the role Processing accounts payable invoices accurately, including matching, validating, and resolving discrepancies to ensure compliance with internal policies. Managing funding forecasts and preparing weekly payment cycles, ensuring all payments are completed on time and approved in line with delegated authority. Providing timely and professional support to internal and external stakeholders while maintaining strong working relationships and managing the shared inbox. Completing AP reconciliations, ageing reports, analytics, and actively managing invoice exceptions to support accurate and on‑time payments. Supporting continuous improvement by enhancing ERP use, identifying process efficiencies, and assisting with internal and external audit requirements. About You 3 years in high-volume accounts payable roles, with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Yardi) and strong Excel skills. High attention to detail; able to work accurately and efficiently in fast-paced settings. Excellent communicator with a track record of building effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
