The Opportunity This is an exciting, part-time (0.7 FTE), permanent opportunity to join an expanding new team within the Catholic Education Office. The CESA Inclusive Learning Through Allied Health (CILAH) program delivers allied health services in occupational therapy, speech pathology, and psychology working with students, families, and education staff within our schools. Key Responsibilities Conduct and interpret discipline-specific assessments and evaluations to identify student needs, with the provision of feedback, recommendations and strategy implementation support. Identify and apply evidence-based interventions, individually or to small groups of students with disability. Liaise and collaborate with teachers, education support officers, other professionals, agencies and families to deliver holistic services. Contribute to research, service development and ongoing evaluation of services About You The successful applicant will demonstrate the following: Enthusiastic: You are enthusiastic about allied health professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Passion for Inclusive Education: You are dedicated to improving learning and wellbeing outcomes for students, particularly those with disabilities, and have a deep understanding of the challenges they face. Experienced Practitioner: you have significant experience in allied health, with a strong clinical background in the speech pathology discipline. Outcome Driven: You are committed to achieving goals and meeting key performance indicators, ensuring the CILAH program contributes positively to CESA’s objectives. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualifications in speech pathology. Registration/certification with the relevant professional regulatory/oversight body: Speech Pathology Australia.
