To be successful you will be expected to be able to work within the Interventional Cardiology department comprising of Cardiac Catheter, Electrophysiology Laboratories and Right Heart Catheterisation/ Endocardial Biopsy procedure room. Some of our interventional procedures include percutaneous valve intervention (TAVI, Mitral and Tricuspid), left atrial appendage closure, Paravalvular leak closure, PFO, ASD closure, AF ablation, cardiac resynchronisation therapy. The successful candidate will become proficient in the use of multiple modalities of ancillary imaging equipment including IVUS, OCT, FFR and iFR co-registration. Once the structured training has been completed, there will be an on-call emergency/STEMI requirement; the successful candidate, when on-call, must be able to attend the ICS within 30 minutes of being called. The role will require working in an occasionally high-stress, life critical environment. You will be monitoring haemodynamic and ECG traces, and your input, as part of the multi-disciplinary team will be essential. Selection Criteria: Bachelor of Science Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent and Current AHPRA registration and current New South Wales EPA Radiation Licence. Commitment to best practice and its delivery through quality assurance or audits. Previous clinical experience within a medical imaging environment. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve organisational outcomes. Proven aptitude in self-directed learning, complex problem solving and decision making. Proven high-level communication, interpersonal skills and computer literacy.
