You’ll own the national strategy, win major tenders, lift dealer capability, and build a fleet engine that performs across corporate, government, rental and leasing . The highlights Build and lead a national OEM fleet operation (HQ regional) with real strategic influence Drive end-to-end major account wins: prospecting → tender/RFP → negotiation → contract close Shape national programs, pricing frameworks, reporting and governance to scale profitably The role As National Fleet Manager , you’ll lead, grow and elevate the OEM’s fleet business during a major expansion phase. You’ll build the strategy, develop the team, and deliver national volume while partnering closely with the dealer network and internal stakeholders across product, marketing, aftersales and finance. What you’ll be doing Fleet strategy & national leadership Set short- and long-term fleet sales strategy across volume, profitability and market share Build, lead and mentor a high-performing national fleet team (HQ regional) Establish KPIs, dashboards, tender governance and performance frameworks Provide data-driven market insights to influence product, pricing and corporate strategy Business development & sales execution Win new fleet business across corporate, government, rental, SME and commercial segments Lead major account acquisition end-to-end (tender/RFP submissions, negotiation, close) Build a strong pipeline and deliver monthly/quarterly/annual volume targets Dealer network partnership Partner with the network team and dealers to drive local fleet growth and readiness for launches Coach dealer fleet teams on engagement, tender response and execution Stakeholders, programs & commercial management Leverage relationships with FMOs, leasing, rental and government procurement Work with finance partners to create competitive fleet finance/novated solutions Manage national tactical programs, discount structures, incentives and stock planning Build consistent national quoting/proposals/SLAs and commercial policy standards Operational excellence Optimise fleet sales processes, CRM workflows, reporting accuracy and tender governance Track market/competitor shifts and identify growth opportunities Oversee delivery and aftersales coordination to protect the customer experience What you’ll bring 5 years in automotive fleet sales management (OEM experience is mandatory) Proven results hitting/exceeding targets and driving team performance Strong understanding of fleet operations, dealer networks and national programs Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills Comfortable travelling nationally Full working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship available) How to apply If you’re a proven OEM fleet leader who can build strategy, win major tenders, and lift a dealer network—apply now with your CV.
